Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) continued its commercial plot auction on the second day, attracting a large number of investors. So far, 12 commercial plots of various categories have been auctioned, generating over PKR 16.82 billion.
On the second day, five Class III shopping center plots in different sectors were sold for PKR 1.13 billion. Investors actively participated in the bidding process to secure prime commercial properties. The four-day auction, being held at the Jinnah Convention Centre, Islamabad, will continue until February 28.

Among the key transactions, Plot No. 4-A of the Farooqia Market Class III Shopping Centre in Sector F-6/1 was auctioned for PKR 310.3 million, while three plots in Bazaar No. 9 and Bazaar No. 8 of Sector G-9 were each sold for PKR 163.99 million. Another plot in Bazaar No. 2 of Sector G-10/2 fetched PKR 325.32 million.
In addition to commercial plots, CDA will auction ready-to-use shops in Blue Area Parking Plaza on February 28. The auction is being overseen by the Auction Committee, led by CDA’s Member Finance. All bids will be scrutinized before being presented to the CDA Board for approval.
CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa emphasized that the revenue from the auction will be utilized for Islamabad’s development projects and beautification initiatives. The ongoing auction includes plots in Blue Area, commercial centers, industrial zones, apartments, and Park Enclave, offering a range of investment opportunities.
