Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) secured PKR 5.024 billion in revenue on the third day of its four-day commercial plot auction, bringing the total earnings so far to over PKR 21.84 billion.
A large number of investors actively participated in the bidding process, demonstrating strong demand for prime commercial real estate in Islamabad. Five plots across different categories were successfully auctioned, with the highest bid of Rs2.794 billion placed for Plot No. 25-B in Sector G-11/1.
Other plots sold on the third day included:
- Plot No. 5 in Sector G-9/2 – PKR 246 million
- Plot No. 3-E in I-14 Markaz – PKR 661.3 million
- Plot No. 3-D in I-14 Markaz – PKR 661.3 million
- Plot No. 3-C in I-14 Markaz – PKR 661.3 million

The ongoing auction, supervised by the CDA Auction Committee under the chairmanship of Member Finance, has already generated PKR 16.82 billion in its first two days. On the final day, constructed shops in the Blue Area Parking Plaza will be up for bidding.
CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa stated that the revenue generated from the auction will be utilized for the city’s development and beautification projects. The bids received will be scrutinized before final approval by the CDA Board.
With strong investor interest and competitive bidding, the CDA’s commercial plot auction continues to be a key revenue-generating initiative for Islamabad’s urban development.
