Previously, CDA had floated tenders for the task of installing traffic signals along the avenue. During the process, traffic signals would be installed at six locations. These include junction of the avenue with Khyaban-e-Soharwardi, NADRA Chowk, junction of the avenue with Jinnah Avenue, and junction of the avenue with Fazal-e-Haq Road. The project of installing traffic signals along the road project is part of CDA’s initiative to implement smart signals in the capital city.
