Islamabad: Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chairman Amer Ali Ahmed on Monday expressed his satisfaction over the civic agency’s efforts to beautify the capital city through the installation of street lights and kerbstone, road carpeting, and lane marking – according to news sources.

As per a press release issued by the CDA, the authority chief visited Sector F-9 Park, Sector F-6 Supermarket, Sector F-7’s Jinnah Super Market and other places to inspect CDA’s work. He directed the authorities to pick up the pace on the projects introduced to enhance the capital city’s beauty.\

Moreover, he issued directions for the officials concerned to improve the cleanliness and sanitation in Islamabad. He called for the restoration of street lights on all major road arteries, link roads and streets. He was informed that the road repair work was underway in several sectorial and rural areas. The repair and restoration of the road in Sectors F-6, F-7, F-8, has been completed, while work on roads in Sectors G-5, G-6, G-7, G-8, G-9, G-10, and G-11 is currently underway.
