Islamabad: Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chairman Amer Ali Ahmed recently visited the Ataturk Avenue, sector G-6, to review its construction progress, a news source reported. He directed the authorities concerned to ensure a temporary arrangement for smooth traffic flow at the G-6 intersection leading to the State Bank Chowk, until the road work has been completed.

Ataturk Avenue is one of the city’s major road networks used for daily by individuals with professional concerns located in the vicinity. In order to facilitate these people, the chairman has instructed the Director Roads to implement a traffic management system at the State Bank Chowk. Similarly, he has directed the Directors of Traffic Engineering and Traffic Planning to do the same in one week’s time.

The CDA chairman also advised the authorities concerned to issue tenders for approved projects, such as the G-7/G-8 underpass, IJP Road Traffic Management Solutions, and Rawal Dam Chowk, in the coming week.
