Islamabad: Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chairman and Chief Commissioner Amir Ali Ahmad has issued orders for overseeing three projects to improve traffic flow in Islamabad, a news source reported.
He ordered the extension of Rawal Dam Chowk to allay complaints of traffic jam build-ups at the intersection. A separate loop will be constructed for the traffic moving from Murree Road to Park Road, for bypassing the traffic signal.

The Islamabad Highway will be widened near PWD, and a safe U-turn facility will be constructed there to resolve traffic issues in the area.
Abpara Chowk will also be expanded with the construction of additional loops. These will facilitate smooth traffic flow, without any signals interference.
Speaking on the matter, the CDA Chairman said that all basic issues being faced by the public will be resolved on a priority basis.
