The authority will reportedly auction 40 residential and 41 commercial plots – between April 8 and April 11 – at Islamabad’s Jinnah Convention Centre. A summary to this effect was recently forwarded to the CDA Board for approval.
However, Member Engineering Dr Hafiz Ahmed Bakhsh expressed his concerns regarding the auction’s procedure and policy. He recommended dividing the offered plots into various categories.

Moreover, the board members sought the details of plot prices. The civic agency was directed to provide this information in a sealed envelope. It was also asked to compare the prices with those determined in the previous auction.
