The CDA engineering wing directed the FWO to not provide any access or crossing structure to illegal housing societies since it is not permitted as per the original design of the civic agency. The letter issued by the city managers also mentioned that the actual road profile must be followed and any modification carried out should be restored to the original profile without any delay.
Moreover, the civic agency issued the directives for the contractor after knowing that some unapproved housing societies were seeking access from Margalla Road. It was mentioned that the north of D-12/3 falls under the jurisdiction of Zone III, where the development of new houses or housing societies was prohibited according to zoning regulations 1992.
