Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Tuesday (January 17) conducted balloting for 411 plots to award plots to the residents of Sarai Khurbuza, Sara-e-Madhu in Sector C, and Sangjani, news sources reported.

The ballot awarded land ownership to the land owners whose land was acquired by CDA for the development of Sectors C-14, C-15, and C-16. As per the sources, the authority has awarded land ownership of 33 plots in Sector C-14, 242 plots in C-15, and 136 plots in C-16. The balloting was conducted using software developed by the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA).

It is important to note that the development of Sectors C-14, C-15, and C-16 is part of a larger plan by the CDA to expand and modernise the city. The authority has been working on acquiring land and compensating those affected by the development for several years. This latest balloting is a significant step forward in the ongoing process of expanding and improving the city.
