Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Thursday announced that it had awarded the contract for completing the construction work of the Park Enclave project in the capital city, a news source reported.

According to a CDA spokesperson, the contract has been awarded at a price that is 32% lower (PKR 86 million) than its original estimation (PKR 130 million). The development work on Park Enclave, which has remained in a stayed condition for almost eight years, is expected to begin this week.
The civic agency said it had cleared all the administrative and technical hurdles impeding the development of Park Enclave; adding that all the legal formalities had been fulfilled.

Last month, the authority had issued the tenders for completing the construction work on the housing scheme.
