Islamabad: Capital Development Authority (CDA) board on Thursday formally approved the layout plan for the construction of Saudi Arabia Embassy, the source told Daily Times.
CDA Chairman Imtiaz Inyat Elahi presided over the board meeting attended by Member Finance Saeed Ahmad, Member Estate M Farooqi, Member Administration Shaukat Memund and Member Engineering Abdul Jabbar Mallano.
The sole item of the board meeting agenda was the layout plan of Saudi Arabian Embassy that had sent the plan through Foreign Office and it was pending with CDA for the last many months.
CDA has already received a huge amount through the sale of a plot to Saudi Arabia Embassy when it sold more than 37 plots to the diplomatic missions having offices located in the residential area of the capital.
Talking to Daily Times, Elahi confirmed that CDA board had formally approved the layout plan of Saudi Arabian Embassy.
