Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority’s (CDA) has approved new regulations for construction of commercial buildings along major road avenues in Islamabad, according to a news report. These regulations will help in generating necessary revenue for the authority and also curb the problems associated with illegal construction.
Under the new regulations, commercial buildings on Kurri Road, Park Road, Lehtrar Road, Kahuta Road, GT Road, and Islamabad Highway will be regularised. However, commercial buildings along Kashmir Highway and the southern side of Murree Road are not including in the list of roads where commercial buildings will be regularised according to the new bylaws.
