Islamabad: Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chairman Maroof Afzal has approved the Punjab government’s request for the allocation of land for the establishment of two hospitals, reported a news source.
According to the news source, a hospital for children will be set up by the Punjab government and the 500-bed King Hammad University of Nursing and Medical Sciences hospital will be set up by the federal government in collaboration with the government of Bahrain.
Land near the Benazir Bhutto International Airport has been approved for the establishment of the children’s hospital while 200 kanals have been allotted on Park Road for the 500-bed hospital.
