Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has provided its approval to the issuance of PKR 116.4 million for the development of a model park on 350 acres of land in Malpur Forest, a news source reported.

According to the details revealed, facilities planned for the park attraction include wetland and a rainwater harvesting system. The civic agency also intends to plant over 7,000 saplings. Out of the total seedlings, 6000 will be Kachnar saplings.

Moreover, the CDA management has issued tenders for the procurement of machinery; expected to cost PKR 28.2 million. It will also hire an assistant director and other staff members for managing the park attraction.
