It is important to note to minimize traffic congestion, protected U-turns were established. Ever since the Srinagar Highway was made signal-free, the number of accidents has increased. A meeting was held to find a solution to this issue. The consultant suggested making a flyover and elevated U-turns in front of the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) and 10th Avenue’s Intersection. After the discussion, CDA Chairman only approved the flyover.
