Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Thursday provided its approval to hire a consultant for conducting the Environment Impact Assessment (EIA) for the Park Enclave III residential initiative, a news source reported.

The decision was reached during a meeting of the CDA board, presided over by CDA Chairman Amer Ali Ahmed. Moreover, the session approved 20 news posts, comprising 15 building inspectors and five land surveyors, with an aim to strengthen the Building Control Directorate (BCD) of the civic agency.

It is pertinent to mention here that the structural development work in both Park Enclave II and III (launched in August) was initiated in November 2020. According to the development authority, construction work in Park Enclave III included fencing, while that in Park Enclave II included completion of road network, installation of street lights and earthwork.
