ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) approved a budget of Rs 37.7 billion for the fiscal year 2015-16 on Monday, June 29, 2015. According to a news source, the budget for the stated fiscal year is 18% less in value than the budget approved for the previous fiscal year.
The budget was approved in a meeting at the CDA headquarters. The CDA’s total outlay for the next fiscal year is Rs 37,695.87 million. Reportedly, Rs 21,091.27 million has been allocated for development-related expenses, while Rs 16,604.05 million has been allotted to expenses not related to development.
The CDA chairman claimed that the approved budget was development-oriented, adding that the civic authority would maintain its momentum of development.
The news source reported further that Rs 200 million had been allocated for the development of the CDA Sectors C-13, C-14 and C-15.
