Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has announced 11 development projects worth over PKR 137,000,000 for the beautification of the city, according to news sources.

Reportedly, these development projects are focused on creating recreational spots in the federal capital and overall beautification of the city. As per the details, tenders for these projects will be opened in May. According to a CDA official, the main aim of upcoming development projects is to enhance the capital’s greenery and landscape.

The beautification projects include landscaping of parks in Sector D-12, Srinagar Highway (Zero Point to Golra Interchange, Peshawar Morr Interchange), construction of jogging track and green belt between Sectors F-11, and G-11 as well as Korang Road to Sectors I-10 and I-11 , development of parks in Sectors I-16, I-14/1, I-14/2, and I-14/4, and complete renovation of Rawal Lake View Park. The summary of these projects has already been approved, while funds will be released after the completion of tender process.
