According to officials, The landowners in the sector – who had previously provided their land to the CDA under a land-sharing agreement – will receive the possession of their plots. They said that the authority had announced its decision to hold the balloting process following the orders issued by the Islamabad High Court (IHC).
The land-sharing rules indicate that landowners have to provide their underdeveloped land to the CDA to facilitate the development of stalled sectors in the capital city. Once the authority has developed this land, it hands back the possession to the original owners. In Sector C-14, CDA previously received four kanals of land, which it is now returning to the rightful owners.
According to CDA Islamabad latest news, the authority recently approved the PC-1 to commence with the development work of CDA Islamabad Sector I-15.
