According to the details revealed, CDA Member Estate Naveed Ilahi issued the directives wherein he prohibited the officials concerned from allotting plots to land owners, who had provided their land to the civic agency, without balloting.
He issued said instructions after several individuals claimed they had received the CDA’s approval for earmarking of plot numbers. These persons had also asked the civic agency to issue allotment letters ‘bearing the numbers they got booked through earmarking’, according to the news source.
As per reports, the plots in question are either situated on main roads or located at the corner in CDA sectors. Moreover, the CDA management intends to reexamine the files of these 2,000 plots in order to verify their legality.
