Islamabad: The federal government recently allocated funds for the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to initiate construction work on the 7.6-kilometre-long 10th Avenue — according to a news source. The funds will be issued through the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP).

According to the details available, the project will be completed in three phases. The first phase will be constructed between Kashmir Highway to Service Road (N) I-9/I-10. In the second phase the service road will be extended to IJP Road, while in the third phase, it will be completed from Kashmir Highway to Khayaban-e-Iqbal.

The project is to be completed within a period of three years, and the PC-1 cost of the project is PKR 11,078 million. Reportedly, PKR 3901.22 million will be required for Phase I of the project, PKR 3451.22 million for Phase II, and PKR 3725.55 million for Phase III.
