Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has committed to awarding built-up properties (BUPs) for constructed properties in Sector C-16 within two months, according to a news source on November 2.

According to the sources, the decision was made after a productive meeting between the CDA officials and local landowners led by former MNA Anjum Aqeel Khan. Under this initiative, the CDA will distribute BUPs to eligible residents on a first-come, first-served basis in Sector C-16.
The announcement of these awards is slated to be made within the next two months. As part of the agreement, residents have pledged not to interfere with the ongoing development work in the sector. The CDA will promptly conduct surveys and measurements of the houses, ensuring a smooth process.

Moreover, it was announced in the meeting that affectees of land acquisition by the authority will be given plots in exchange for their constructed properties in either Sector C-16 or C-15. The CDA has committed to issuing allotment letters within four months for a 5-marla plot within a 300-square-foot area, adhering to the terms of the agreement.
