Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA)’s officials have admitted to a Senate committee their helplessness to curb land violations at agro farms and orchards in the Federal Capital.
According to CDA Planning Member Mr Wasim Ahmed, the violators had obtained stay orders from the Supreme Court, which had barred the CDA from taking any action against them.
Reportedly, the court had taken suo motu notice of the case and had expressed displeasure over the mismanagement of agro farms.
