Islamabad: Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) Minister Dr Fazal Chaudhary instructed the Capital Development Authority (CDA) management on May 18 to confiscate and scrutinise all land records after many allegations of corruption in the land and estate directorate came to light.
According to a news source, Chaudhary also banned the allocation of plots to affectees of projects for which the civic authority had acquired land, so that the allegation that CDA officials had illegally allotted several plots over the last few months can be thoroughly investigated.
