Lahore: The Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP) and the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) have decided to collaborate against illegal housing schemes, a news source reported.

CCP member Dr Shahzad Ansar held a meeting to this effect with LDA Director General Amna Imran. Other representatives of the two organisations were also present at the occasion.
Dr Shahzad Ansar said that CCP could identify illegal small and big housing schemes and there sponsors thereby protecting interests of the common citizens. He invited LDA to sign an agreement to this effect.

In response, LDA DG Amna Imran appreciated the offer of cooperation extended by the CCP member. She said that the civic agency would benefit from the commission’s expertise. She also briefed the CCP delegation about LDA’s operation against illegal housing schemes.
