Officials called for an ‘out-of-the-box’ solution for this issue, keeping the Kazi formula in mind, and requested the committee to make a fair, constitutional decision. The previous report revealed KP and Punjab’s hydel profit for 2016-17 is expected to be around PKR 128 billion and PKR 52 billion respectively, in accordance with the Kazi committee formula.
