Islamabad: Central Board of Revenue Employees Cooperative Housing (CBRECHS) has issued an important notice to members of Blocks A, B, C, D, E and Executive Block of CBRECHS Phase II via a publication.

The notice instructs the members to clear their development charges as per the schedule announced in Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2018. The members are to clear their dues for development work charges, including the construction of roads and laying of infrastructure for electricity and gas. The new schedule is not applicable on members who cleared their development charges before the AGM 2018.

The notice also reads that members of CBRECHS’ Prime Block who have cleared certain dues for their 5-marla, 10-marla and 1-kanal plots can clear the Cost of Land (COL) at existing rate. The members have to pay PKR 6,000 per square yard by March 11, 2019 to be included in the next ballot. Those who will not clear their dues by March 11 will pay the COL at the new rate of PKR 13,000 per square yard.

Other members who have paid the amount for their plots will pay PKR 6,000 in terms of COL for CBRECHS Phase III in Mandra, GT Road. The members have been requested to make the payment as per the schedule to allow for smooth land acquisition of CBRECHS Phase III.
The CBRECHS management has also requested its overseas members to update their email addresses, overseas address, contact numbers, and details on a permanent address in Pakistan within 15 days. This will allow the society to send related notices to them on time.
The publication also mentions that all payments made by the CBRECHS members will be acceptable in the form of pay order or demand draft. Payments made via bank deposit or in form of cash are unacceptable.
