Islamabad: Central Board of Revenue Employees Cooperative Housing Scheme (CBRECHS) and Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) are willing to cooperate with the Government of Pakistan to construct 50 million affordable housing units, a news source quoted CBRECHS President Altaf Bhatt. He expressed these views during his visit to ICCI, where he was received and accompanied by ICCI President Sheikh Amir Waheed, Muhammad Naveed Malik, Nisar Mirza, Zubair Ahmed Malik, Khalid Qureshi, and Khalid Chaudhry.
Talking about the need for and impact of affordable housing units in the country, he said that construction of 50 million houses will leave positive impact on the 334 industries associated with the real estate sector, create many more jobs, and promote industrial revolution in the country.
