Lahore: The Central Business District Punjab (CBD Punjab) has reported notable progress in building the Celestia IT Tower, a key component within the CBD NSIT City project, according to a news source on November 11.

Designed to support Punjab’s expanding role in technology and innovation, the tower has seen structural advancement, with Basement Four completed and work on Basement Three reaching 50%. The construction update follows a recent visit to the site by CBD Punjab’s CEO Imran Amin who reviewed the project’s status and held discussions with key officials, including Executive Director Technical Riaz Hussain, Director Project Management Asif Iqbal, and other members from NESPAK.
During the visit, the team examined strategies to maintain construction timelines and meet quality benchmarks, reflecting CBD Punjab’s focus on infrastructure standards. In addition to the IT Tower, CBD Punjab is moving forward with preparations for the proposed Silicon Block, intended to expand the area’s technology infrastructure. According to CBD Punjab, technical bids have been opened for Silicon Block’s development as part of broader plans to advance CBD NSIT City into a business district with a focus on tech and innovation.
CEO Imran Amin noted that the Celestia IT Tower and Silicon Block are part of CBD Punjab’s objective to provide modern facilities that align with Punjab’s urban growth strategy and digital economy needs. CBD Punjab intends to continue progressing these projects to support the province’s infrastructure and technology landscape.
