Lahore: The Punjab government has now renamed Lahore Central Business District Development Authority (LCBDDA) to Punjab Central Business District Development, expanding its jurisdiction beyond Lahore.

The CBD Punjab announced the news through newspaper advertising. According to the newly renamed CDB Punjab, the authority will now embark on development projects around the province, adding to the province’s real estate growth. The authority promised to promote green growth and sustainable development based on vertical principles. There will be huge economic and social attractions for local and foreign enterprises.

The Lahore Central Business District Development Authority (LCBDDA), commonly known as the Central Business District Punjab (CBD Punjab), is a project launched by the Punjab government to promote and construct environmentally friendly, vertical urban regeneration projects. The project was initiated in 2020 and is now developing multi-story highrises and Lahore’s first downtown project.
