Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi officially inaugurated the Cavalry Underpass on Sunday, celebrating its completion in an impressive 2.5 months, as reported by a source on November 27.

As per the details, the project, notable for achieving a 15% reduction in total expenditure, received commendation for its expeditious execution ahead of the projected 6 months. Addressing the ceremony, CM Naqvi extended felicitations to the residents of Lahore, particularly those in Gulberg and Defence, on the successful and timely completion of the Cavalry Underpass.

With the inauguration of the Cavalry Underpass, the route is anticipated to accommodate 200,000 vehicles daily, significantly reducing signal stops. Recognizing the challenges inherent in the construction process, CM Naqvi commended the dedicated efforts of DG LDA, his team, and the contractor for their unwavering commitment to completing the project round the clock.
