Islamabad – Considering the security hazards, the Capital Administration has started surveying nullahs in Islamabad. During this drive, the exact number and routes of nullahs will be identified and the slums and junkyards developed beside or on the nullahs will be inspected. After the completion of the survey, police will get the areas vacated with the help of the Capital Development Authority (CDA).
CDA officials have said that the slums in Sectors I-10 and I-11 will be vacated initially and then in the first week of April, action will be taken against the slums adjacent to nullahs.
