RAWALPINDI: The areas falling under the jurisdiction of the Cantonment Board are facing acute water shortage, leaving residents with no choice but to buy water from the market.
According to a news report, Lalazar Colony, Mubarak Lane, Dhok Jummah, Talsa Gaon and Dhok Kahur are the main areas where residents have been facing shortage of water for quite a long time.
The authorities concerned have been making claims to ensure the provision of water to the residents, but practical steps are yet to be taken to supply water in many areas.
