Multan: The Multan Waste Management Company (MWMC) has launched a drive to spread awareness on the importance of cleanliness. The MWMC Chief Executive Officer Muhammad Abdul Jabbar gave directives for initiating the campaign.

Under this campaign, MWMC will persuade citizens to use trashcans instead of littering the streets. Furthermore, the company will install banners at important points in the city. The campaign is aimed at encouraging people to keep their surrounding areas clean.
MWMC has also set up a helpline for people to file their complaints. The citizens are encouraged to give a call on 1139 for communicating them. MWMC CEO Jabbar has requested the public to cooperate with the company, and help Multan become a cleaner city.

Jabbar formally launched the campaign at the union council level on Wednesday. He also paid a visit to other areas of the city to help raise awareness. In this capacity, Jabbar inspected the on-ground situation regarding the MWMC’s cleanliness efforts.
