Islamabad: The federal cabinet has directed to ensure the provision of gas and electricity supplies to industrial zones operating across the country, according to Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry.

The minister was expressing his views on the matter during a press conference. He informed that the executive had so far implemented 243 out of the 440 decisions taken in the past 26 cabinet meetings.
He said that the government recently relaxed its visa policy in a bid to promote tourism and investment. In a similar effort, an ‘Ease of Doing Business’ initiative has been launched to facilitate the business community.
Sharing details about the visit of the Saudi prince, Chaudhry said that the two countries would sign at least eight MOU agreements with regard to the investment, finance, power, renewable energy, internal security, media & culture, and sports sectors.

The royal guest is scheduled to arrive in Pakistan on a two-day visit, starting from February 16. A high-level business delegation will accompany Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman on this trip.
