Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Usman Buzdar on Wednesday reached Dera Ghazi Khan (DG Khan) to break ground for several uplift scheme in the region today, according to news sources.

As per reports, the chief minister will lay the foundation stone of Punjab Modern Intercity Bus Terminal – to be constructed with a cost of PKR 330 million. He will also break ground for the Junction Bridge Daat expansion project to facilitate the inter-provincial traffic flow.

Moreover, Buzdar will also lay the foundation stone of Sardar Fateh Muhmmad Khan Buzdar Institute of Cardiology. The hospital is being developed with a budget of PKR 4 billion and will accommodate 10 beds in its initial phase of launch. The CM will also present a cheque to Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) for the electrification of Tausna and Koh-e-Suleman tehsils.
Furthermore, Buzdar will also chair the meeting of various administrative departments to review the current situation of legal and development affairs, during his visit – apart from laying the foundations for the Gajani Sapar project aimed at preserving the fertile land from a river breach.
