Gujrat: Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Usman Buzdar has reconstituted the Board of Directors (BoD) of the Punjab Land Records Authority (PLRA) through the nomination of five members, according to news sources.
As per the official notification released by the provincial government, the CM has nominated Dr Saqib Aziz (a retired bureaucrat), Dr Jawad Abdul Ghani, Prof Mubeenuddin Qazi, Advoc Muhammad Yasrab Hanjra, and Waqar Mushtaq Toor as the board members.

The chief minister nominated these members on the recommendations of a committee that included provincial law ministries, revenue and parliamentary affairs ministries, member of revenue board, chief secretary, and other senior public officials.

The decision which concerned the PLRA BoD reformation had remained stalled for almost a year, owing to various inter-departmental concerns. Previously, the CM had appointed a Dera Ghazi Khan MPA as the board’s chairman.
