Karachi: Prime Minister (PM) Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan has invited the business and industrial community of Karachi to set up industrial units in the AJK, according to news published in the leading newspaper on February 23.

The PM, in a meeting at the Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industries (KCCI), mentioned that businesses and industrialists will be able to get cheaper land and a secure environment when they set up their units in the scenic valley. He further added that they will be offered low-cost electricity, tax incentives, and suitable infrastructure.
Moreover, the minister stated that Karachi’s industrialists and the business community can lead Kashmir’s industrialists and they will learn from their expertise and produce quality products. It will generate employment opportunities for the locals.
