Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Industries, Commerce, Technical Education, and Merged Districts’ Affairs Minister Dr Aamer Abdullah officially inaugurated the newly constructed Business Centre at the Small Industries Estate, according to a news source on December 3.

As per the details, the Business Centre, completed for PKR 45 million, is anticipated to become a key revenue generator for the Small Industries Development Board (SIDB), potentially contributing millions of rupees monthly through its commercial operations.
Situated on Kohat Road within the Small Industrial Estate, the Business Centre comprises display halls and showrooms designed to exhibit products manufactured by the estate’s various manufacturers. The inauguration ceremony saw the presence of key officials, including the SIDB Managing Director Ghazanfar Ali, Deputy Managing Directors Sahibzada Zulfiqar and Noman Fayyaz, along with other officers, officials, and employees.

Addressing the gathering, Minister Abdullah underscored the project’s significance and emphasised the need to refine the board’s business model for enhanced financial stability, growth, and alignment with the demands of the modern era. The minister’s directive aimed at ensuring the sustained upliftment and improvement of the Business Centre aligns with the broader goal of fostering economic development in the region.
