Hyderabad: A recent building collapse in Hyderabad has raised many questions about the working of the Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA), as it was found to be lacking records of buildings located in the old areas of the city.
According to the analysis of the rubble conducted at Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, substandard material was used in the building.
SBCA officials told reporters that they had no records of the buildings approved by the Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.
