Islamabad: The government has given a one-week deadline to real estate builders and developers to pay their taxes per the new rules set by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), states a news report.
According to details, a high-level FBR meeting was held on Monday, during which representatives of All Pakistan Builders and Developers Association were also present. The meeting concluded that the developers and builders failing to pay taxes within the stipulated time will face serious consequences including freezing the bank accounts of defaulters.
