Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Sardar Usman Buzdar chaired a meeting on Wednesday to review matters regarding the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) and ordered the early completion of Lahore’s master plan preparations, according to news sources.

The CM maintained that through the ‘holistic reforms in LDA’ more projects are being initiated to facilitate the people living in the provincial metropolis. To this effect, he stated that the authority’s apartment project will ensure a roof over the low-income segments of the society. Additionally, the was informed that the construction of high-rise buildings has also been permitted in Lahore.

Furthermore, the meeting was briefed that the LDA has been made a public-friendly institute that provides amenities to people on their doorstep. Buzdar asked for the strategic recommendations to be presented after the LDA’s jurisdiction is re-evaluated.
