Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) board has approved a budget of PKR 37.9 billion for the civic authority for 2017-18, according to a news source. In this budget, PKR 21.18 billion has been reserved for development work. The final approval will be given by Capital Administration and Development Division.
According to details, PKR 11.1 billion from the budget will be spent on priority development projects, which will be initiated during the current fiscal year. The priority projects identified by the CDA include development of Bhara Kahu Bypass, initiation of development work in Sector E-12f, C-15 and I-15, construction of Sohan and Khana Interchange, expansion of Attaturk Avenue, construction of an underpass on Faisal Avenue, development of Margalla Avenue, and rehabilitation of I.J.P Road.
