Karachi: The Bahria Town Karachi (BTK) administration recently announced its decision to shut down its public facilities in a bid to ensure public safety — with the initiative being implemented to curtail the further spread of the coronavirus pandemic, according to news sources.

The housing project has banned all public gatherings in BTK. Danzoo, Bahria Dancing Fountains, Bahria Adventure Land, Carnival Area, Sports Grounds, Rendezvous Club and DD Tour Bus have also been closed for the public, until further notice.

All mosques in the society will only open during prayer times. Furthermore, BTK has notified that all scheduled events have also been cancelled until the outbreak has been controlled. Any visitors in the society are directed to leave before 5 p.m. and external entities will not be allowed to enter the society after the communicated time period.
On the prevailing coronavirus situation in the country and across the globe, the Bahria Town International Hospitals have also recommended for the public to exercise protective habits in their daily routines to stay safe.
