Peshawar: TransPeshawar, the company running Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project has bought 360 bicycles for its bike-sharing feature, according to a news report. In a statement, it was disclosed that a separate bike lane is to be constructed along the entire 28-kilometre corridor.
These bicycles will use a step-through frame, to ensure that both men and women can utilise these services without any hindrance. Adjustable seat posts will be made on the bicycles so that a large number of riders can avail this facility. A number of safety features have also been added to enhance safety of riders.
