Karachi: Minister for Information, Transport, and Mass Transit Sharjeel Inam Memon emphasized the utmost urgency in redirecting all efforts towards the swift completion of the Red Line Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Project, according to the news published on July 7.

In a meeting to review the progress of the Red Line BRT project, the minister emphasized the need for collective efforts from all stakeholders to ensure its early completion. The minister also instructed measures to minimize inconvenience to citizens during the ongoing construction. Recognizing the project’s potential benefits for millions of people in Karachi, he urged the resolution of any issues encountered.
During the meeting, the construction progress of the Tank Chowk to Safooran Chowrangi underpass, part of the Red Line BRT project, was discussed. To closely monitor the project’s advancement, a committee was formed to conduct daily reviews.
