Hyderabad: Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon mentioned that the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project will also be launched in Hyderabad to provide better transport facilities and improve the infrastructure of the city, according to news published in the leading newspaper on July 13.

The minister, while addressing the press conference, shared that the People’s Bus Service was launched on a trial basis. He further added that the bus service will also be started in Larkana. It was mentioned that the Sindh government will operate the BRT bus projects under the name of the Red Line and Yellow Line. He also revealed that international financial institutions are interested in the Yellow Line BRT project.

Talking about the monsoon spell, Information Minister Memon stated that the government has formed teams to supervise rain emergencies and related measures. He disclosed that the civic agencies in collaboration with the provincial government were draining the rainwater across the province.
