Peshawar: To avoid the pace of development work from suffering due to rush hour during the day time, the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has decided to increase the pace of work during the night, reported a news source. The decision will also help the government start the test run for metro service between Chamkani and Firdous by December this year.
The construction companies being engaged for the project has sped up the work pace during the night hours. To further ensure the security of the labourers deployed at the site, the construction companies also have a plan in place. In addition, the engaged companies will also be giving a special package in terms on monitory help for the family of workers who died due to accidents on the project site.
