Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) in Islamabad has taken measures to ensure transparency and legitimacy in housing schemes by reconstituting an Inspection Committee, as claimed in a news article published on March 26.

During a CDA Board meeting, chaired by the Planning and Development Member, it was decided to reconstitute the committee to verify the physical aspects of housing projects. This decision reflects the necessity for thorough scrutiny of such schemes in the capital.
The Inspection Committee, chaired by the CDA Member Engineering, comprises five members from different CDA departments, including Building Control, Finance, Land Survey, and Town Planning.
