Karachi: The Bahria Town management has announced opening the bookings for its latest, low-cost, ‘Bahira Greens’ housing project, according to the developer’s official Facebook page. The booking forms can be downloaded from the society’s official website and can be submitted (along with bank draft/cash) at any Bahria Town office or nationwide branches of the United Bank Limited (UBL) and Allied Bank Limited.

The project is claimed to be the country’s largest low-cost housing project with a limited number of residential plots spanning 75 sq yds (15’x40’). The permissible structure encompasses ground plus two floors with four bedrooms. The booking fee is PKR 295,000 and the total amount is PKR 1,675,000. The possession will be given in 3 years and payments can be made in 16 quarterly instalments spreading over 4 years (PKR 86,250 each).
Furthermore, the processing fees for the application is PKR 5,000 – non-refundable. For preferences like corner plot, boulevard location and park facing – the investors will have to pay an additional 10% (each). The development charges, maintenance and service charges are not included in the mentioned prices.

People can also avail home financing services for the construction of houses. Bahria Greens includes an overseas block – created especially for expatriates. The developmental work on the project is currently being conducted at a rapid pace. However, the investors will have to construct their houses in line with the designs communicated by the society management. The plots’ location is allocated temporarily and will be finalised after demarcation.
Buyers will have to pay all the registration charges, sales agreements and transfer fees as required. In case of cancellation, after the plot allotment, the allottee will have to surrender the investments already made. Investors will have to comply with all the allotment, possession, ownership, construction and transfer bylaws administrated by the society administration or any other relevant authority.
